Textured Landscape Painting
Create a dimensional landscape using texture paste, color, and layered acrylic painting.
Service Description
In this two-day workshop, participants create a textured landscape painting using professional texture paste, palette knives, and acrylic paint. This process introduces a new way of working with surfaces, allowing artists to explore dimension, relief, and expressive texture in both abstract and representational landscapes. The workshop is designed for beginners and experienced painters who want to expand their creative techniques. Day 1 — Building the Surface On the first day we focus on creating the textured base. Participants work with professional texture paste, palette knives, and brushes to build relief and shape the landscape structure. This tactile process allows you to explore depth and movement directly on the canvas. Day 1 can be taken as a stand-alone workshop or as part of the full two-day experience. Day 2 — Color & Layers On the second day we develop the painting further by adding color and layered acrylic techniques. Working step by step, participants bring the textured surface to life through color, light, and contrast. Participants joining Day 2 only will receive a pre-textured canvas prepared for painting. Outcome: Each participant leaves with a unique textured landscape painting — complete, expressive, and ready to display or gift. The techniques learned in this workshop can be applied to many future paintings. Format: Duration Day 1 — 1 hour Day 2 — 2 hours Participants may attend one day or both days. All materials included. No prior painting experience required. Facilitated by Mila Solo, abstract artist and instructor. Price: Day 1 — $55 Day 2 — $75 Two-day workshop package — $120
